A new industry initiative, Elevate Dairy, has been launched to fast-track the adoption of proven AgTech solutions across Victoria’s dairy regions, connecting local and global innovators with dairy farmers to address on-farm challenges.
Elevate Dairy is a structured program that directly engages both farmers and innovators, identifying priority on-farm challenges and matching them with proven technologies from around the world.
Farmers can access solutions, participate in focus farm trials and attend roadshows and demonstrations, while innovators receive tailored support to enter the Victorian dairy market and scale adoption.
Gardiner CEO Allan Cameron said Elevate Dairy represents a novel way for innovation to be introduced and adopted in the Victorian dairy industry.
“Victoria’s dairy industry has strong global connections and a long history of innovation, but adoption is where real value is created,” Mr Cameron said.
“Elevate Dairy is about connecting farmers with technologies that are ready to deliver real benefits, while giving innovators a clear and supported pathway into our Victorian dairy regions.”
Gardiner has engaged Beanstalk AgTech, a leading ventures and advisory firm dedicated to driving profitable and sustainable agrifood systems to deliver Elevate Dairy.
Beanstalk Principal Jolien Paalman said the landing pad was deliberately designed to ensure innovation translates into real-world outcomes.
“Too often, AgTech struggles to move beyond trials and into meaningful on-farm use.
“Elevate Dairy brings innovators and farmers together, with the right commercial and operational support to test solutions on commercial dairy farms and support the adoption of what works,” Ms Paalman said.
Elevate Dairy is open to Australian and international AgTech innovators, as well as Victorian dairy farmers interested in participating in trials and adoption opportunities.
