GF/FRRR Working in Dairy Communities
Small Grants Program
Investing in the people and communities that make up the dairy industry is critical to the sustainability of dairy farming in Victoria. The Gardiner Foundation is committed to strengthening dairy communities and providing opportunities for the development of capability and leadership skills in dairy people.
As part of its Community and People Development Program, the Gardiner Foundation has again contracted FRRR to deliver its Small Grants Program, to fund worthwhile projects in rural and regional Victoria.
The Gardiner Foundation will make available to FRRR up to a total of $100,000 to fund $5,000 grants for innovative and well targeted community-driven projects intended to assist in strengthening small Victorian dairy communities, building their capacity to deal with local issues and enhancing existing community infrastructure.
